Visual experiments. Single-file WebGL and canvas things built for the sake of building them.
Calder Blobs
Alexander Calder-inspired generative compositions. Bold organic forms in primary colors overlap and drift like slow mobiles. Painterly brushstroke texture, four halftone modes (dots, grain, scanlines, crosshatch), warm vignette. Arrow keys browse history. Inspired by a Calder lithograph from the Albright College auction.
Open →Magic Bug Bird
Vertical shoot-em-up. A golden bird devours glowing bugs to unlock devastating weapons — laser eyes, spread shot, gravity field. Three boss types cycle through waves of increasing chaos. Synthesized soundtrack via Web Audio. Built in one session.
Play →Cloud Empire
Looking straight up into a procedural sky. Mixed clouds drift overhead with front-to-back parallax depth. Set wind direction by dragging. Turn up Approach and watch clouds materialize small in the distance, swell as they cross, and dissolve at the edge. Time of day shifts the light from cerulean noon to deep night.
Open →Indigo Empire
Interference fields layered over each other until they make something unexpected. Six field types, six palettes, halftone and dither modes, particle overlay. Hold and drag to warp. Shareable settings via URL hash.
Open →Magic Rainbow Fairy Dust
A generative music toy. Six notes rotating through a scale with delay echo, convolution reverb, and an SMR-style LED ring. Every press is different. Inspired by Andrew Huang's Spectral Multiband Resonator patch.
